I've known Matt for 15 years and he is one of the top real estate acquisitions/dispositions professionals that I’ve had the pleasure of working with. I have sold properties to him and for him. With his asset management background, Matt is one of the few people who in my experience is equally at home with analyzing markets, financial underwriting, and physical/construction aspects of the deal.
 
One experience that I had with Matt that exemplifies his skill set was closing a complicated $40 Million transaction with a partial seller leaseback and limited historical financial data because it was a corporate seller in September 2008 after Lehman’s bankruptcy and the ensuing financial market meltdown. The deal was closed as negotiated and on time. Executing on a deal like that, when the world seemingly was falling apart, is what Matt is all about.
